United India Insurance Company is an insurance company owned by the Indian government. Its headquarters are in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The company was established on February 18, 1938, and became nationalized in 1972.
Online applications are invited for the recruitment of Assistant positions at the United India Insurance Company. The application period commences on 16th December 2023 and concludes at 06th January 2024
Qualification, Age Limit, Pay Scale for UIIC Recruitment 2024
Assistants
- Number Vacancy: 300 (Provisional).
- Educational and other qualifications: Graduate from a recognized University and Knowledge of Reading, Writing and Speaking of Regional language of the State of Recruitment is essential.
- Scale of pay: Rs. 22405-1305(1)-23710-1425(2)-26560-1605(5)-34585-1855(2)- 38295-2260(3)-45075-2345(2)-49765-2500(5)-62265
- Age Limit: 21 years and Maximum Age: 30 years (as on 30.09.2023). Candidates born not earlier than 01.10.1993 and not later than 30.09.2002 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply.
Mode of Selection for UIIC Recruitment 2024
All eligible candidates must submit their applications online before the specified registration deadline.
- Every candidate needs to take an online examination. Those who pass the exam will be invited for a Regional Language Test.
- Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee participation in the online exam and Regional Language test.
- Candidates who qualify in the exam will then be shortlisted for the Regional Language test as part of the final selection process.
- Details about the Online Test will be provided separately.

Application Fee for UIIC Recruitment 2024:
- For applicants who are not SC/ST/PwBD or permanent employees of the company, the application fee is Rs. 1000 (including service charges) plus applicable GST.
- For SC/ST/PwBD and permanent employees of the company, the fee is Rs. 250 (only service charges) plus applicable GST.
How to Apply for UIIC Recruitment 2024
Candidates can apply online only from 16th December 2023 to 6th January 2024 (Both days inclusive) and no other mode of application will be accepted.
