The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) is looking for qualified candidates to fill positions like Lower Division Clerk, Junior Assistant, Stenographer Grade-II, Junior Stenographer (Hindi/English), Lower Division Clerk-cum-Typist, Jr. Stenographer, Stenographer, and Asstt. Grade - I (Post Code - 802/23). These positions are available in different government departments, autonomous bodies, and local bodies in the National Capital Territory of Delhi. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply online.

Qualification, Age Limit, Pay Scale for DSSSB Recruitment 2024

Asstt. Grade-I

  • Number Vacancy: 104
  • Educational and other qualifications: Sr. Secondary from a recognized Board or its equivalent. and Should pass the typewriting in English with minimum speed of 35 words per minute or in Hindi with a minimum speed of 30 words per minute on Computer ( 35 words per minute and 30 words per minute correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depression of each word.)
  • Experience: NIL
  • Pay Scale: Rs. 19900 – 63200/- (Pay Level-2) Group: ‘C’
  • Age Limit: Between 18-27 years.

Junior Stenographer (Hindi)

  • Number Vacancy: 2
  • Educational and other qualifications: Senior Secondary (12th pass) with Hindi as a subject from any recognized Board / Institute with proficiency in Hindi.
  • Experience: NIL
  • Pay Scale: Rs. 25500 – 81100/- (Pay Level-4) Group: ‘C’
  • Age Limit: Between 18-27 years.

Grade-IV/Junior Assistant

  • Number Vacancy: 1672
  • Educational and other qualifications: 12th pass from a recognized Board / Institution. A typing speed of 35 w.p.m in English or 30 w.p.m in Hindi on Computer.
  • Experience: NIL
  • Pay Scale: Rs. 19900 – 63200/- (Pay Level-2), Group: ‘C’ (Central Civil Service, Ministerial, Non-Gazetted)
  • Age Limit: Between 18-27 years.

Stenographer

  • Number Vacancy: 143
  • Educational and other qualifications: 12th pass or equivalent under 10+2 system from a recognized Board / University. Speed of 80 words per minute (w.p.m.) in shorthand and 40 words per minute (w.p.m.) in typewriting in English OR 80 words per minute (w.p.m.) in shorthand and 35 words per minute (w.p.m.) in typewriting in Hindi
  • Experience: NIL
  • Pay Scale: Rs. 25500 – 81100/- (Pay Level-4) Group: ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial)

Lower Division Clerk-cumTypist (English/Hindi)

  • Educational and other qualifications: 12th class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.   • Educational and other qualifications: Senior Secondary certificates or equivalent required for direct recruits from a recognized Board / University. Proficiency in shorthand and typing having at least a speed of 80 w.p.m. in shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in typing.

  • Pay Scale: 25500 – 81100 (Pay Level – 4) Group: ‘C’
  • Age Limit:18 - 30 years.

Junior Assistant

  • Number Vacancy: 40
  • Educational and other qualifications: 12th pass from recognized Board; and Proficiency in Type Writing minimum speed of 35 words per minute in English OR 30 words per minute in Hindi.
  • Experience: NIL
  • Pay Scale: Rs. 19900 – 63200/- (Pay Level-2) Group: ‘C’
  • Age Limit:18 to 27 years.

Lower Division Clerk

  • Number Vacancy: 28
  • Educational and other qualifications: 12th Class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. AND A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH / 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).

  • Pay Scale: 19,900 – 63,200 Group: ‘C’
  • Age Limit:18 - 27 years

Section Officer (Horticulture)

  • Number Vacancy: 89
  • Educational and other qualifications: Degree in Agriculture or in Science with Botany as a subject from a recognized university or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in the field of Ornamental Horticulture / Landscape Gardening.
  • Pay Scale: Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400/- (Pay Level-6), Group: ‘B’
  • Age Limit: Between 18-27 years.

Section Officer (Horticulture)

  • Number Vacancy: 19
  • Educational and other qualifications: I class or II class degree in B.Sc. (Agriculture) with 2 year experience in Ornamental Horticulture or Landscaping in Government or Semi-Government or Organizations or repute.
  • Experience: Experience in the field of Ornamental Horticulture / Landscape Gardening.
  • Pay Scale: Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400/- (Pay Level-6), Group: ‘C’
  • Age Limit: 18-32 years.

Mode of Selection for DSSSB Recruitment 2024

  • The marks you get in the computer-based Based Examination may be adjusted (if needed) using a formula provided by DSSSB. This adjusted score will be used to decide the final ranking and selection.
  • If any questions in the exam are considered invalid, those questions won't be counted, and your marks will be calculated based on the remaining questions.
  • After the exam, DSSSB will post draft Answer Keys on their website. You can check these and raise objections online within a specific time frame. Only objections submitted online within this time will be reviewed. Any objections sent through other means (like letters, applications, or emails) won't be considered. The Board's decision on objections will be final.

Application Fee for DSSSB Recruitment 2024:

  • The application fee is ₹100 for everyone.
  • Women candidates and candidates from categories like Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities), and Ex-servicemen don't have to pay any application fee.
  • Ex-servicemen who have already found regular employment with the Central Government, Government of NCT of Delhi, or its Autonomous/Local Bodies after benefiting from ex-servicemen reservation for re-employment are not eligible for fee concession.

How to Apply for DSSSB Recruitment 2024

  • Before you apply online, make sure you're registered on DSSSB's website at https://dsssbonline.nic.in. Follow the registration instructions on the Board's website (see Annexure-II). This is a one-time registration. Use the generated user ID and password to log in when applying for any DSSSB-examined posts. Don't register multiple times or your application will be canceled, and you won't be allowed to take Board exams.
  • Eligible candidates can apply online at https://dsssbonline.nic.in from January 9, 2024, to February 7, 2024 (till 11:59 PM). The link will be disabled after this date.
  • Carefully read the instructions for applying online while filling out the application form for the specific post.
  • Submit your application online only; no other method (post, hand-delivery, email, etc.) will be accepted. Any application received through other means will be rejected without correspondence.
  • The online application submission starts on January 9, 2024, and ends on February 7, 2024 (11:59 PM).
  • To avoid last-minute issues, submit your application well before the closing date. DSSSB won't be responsible if you can't submit due to reasons beyond your control.
  • Before submitting, check that all details in your online application form are correct. Once submitted, no changes or corrections (including category changes) will be allowed. Requests for changes sent via post, fax, email, hand-delivery, etc., won't be considered. You're responsible for any mistakes in your application data and the fee you've paid.
