The Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) is the organization responsible for generating and distributing electricity for the government of the Punjab state in India. It was once called Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB) but was split into two companies, Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd. (POWERCOM) and Punjab State Transmission Corporation Ltd. (TRANSCO), by the Punjab government on April 16, 2010.

Online applications are invited for the recruitment of Assistant Manager positions at the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited. The application period commences on 09.01.2024, and concludes on 30.01.2024.

Qualification, Age Limit for PSPCL Recruitment 2024

Assistant Manager/lT Systems

• Number Vacancy: 10
• Educational and other qualifications: Full Time regular BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering in Computer- Science/IT with a minimum 60% marks or equivalent degree in respective discipline recognized by AICTE or Full time regular MCA with at least 60% marks or Full-time regular Masters degree in IT with at least 60% marks.
• Age Limit: As per Punjab Govt. Notification G.S.R.20/Const./Art.309/Amd (10)/2010 dated 24.05.2010, candidates should not be below 18 years and above 37 years of age as on 01/01/2023 to be eligible for these posts and relaxation in age will be as per Govt. of Punjab instructions.

Mode of Selection for PSPCL Recruitment 2024

• Candidates who fulfill the criteria w.r.t. GATE-2023, qualification, age, etc. as detailed above, are eligible to apply for recruitment against CRA 302/2023 in PSPCL. All the candidates are informed that only GATE-2023 marks will be valid for the current recruitment process under CRA 302/23. Candidates must produce the GATE-2023 scorecard which will be checked by PSPCL during the time of document checking. 5.2 based on result/merit list prepared based on GATE-2023 marks, only those candidates who fulfill the criteria w.r.t. qualification, age, etc. as per information filled in the application form shall be called for document checking.
• Candidates must produce original documents/certificates before the document checking committee wherein their fulfillment of eligibility criteria w.r.t. to qualification, age, reservation etc. as per CRA shall be checked and the original documents shall be returned to the candidates on the same day after checking. However, the candidates must submit one photocopy of all the documents, duly self-attested, to the document checking committee. The date of document checking shall be notified through registered e- mail IDs (as mentioned by the candidate in his/her online application form) and on PSPCL's website (www.pspcl.in) only. Thus, candidates are advised to mention their email IDs very carefully and to visit the PSPCL site frequently.

• For all categories except SC and Persons with Disability: Rs 1416 plus bank charges (if applicable) for the application.
• For SC Category and Persons with Disability Category: Rs 885 plus bank charges (if applicable) for the application.

How to Apply for PSPCL Recruitment 2024

• Carefully read the advertisement and the guidelines regarding the online filling /submission of the application form.
• Candidates will apply online through PSPCL website in English only. No other means/mode of submission of applications including manual/paper will be accepted under any circumstances.
