The Reserve Bank of India, known as RBI, is the central bank and regulatory authority overseeing India's banking system. It operates under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, and its main tasks include regulating the Indian currency, managing the country's payment systems, and contributing to economic development. The Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran (BRBNM) is a special division of the RBI responsible for printing and minting Indian currency notes (INR) in four locations: Nashik (Maharashtra), Dewas (Madhya Pradesh), Mysore (Karnataka), and Salboni (West Bengal).
Applications are invited for the recruitment of Medical Consultant positions at the Reserve Bank of India. The application period commences on Dec 29, 2023, and concludes on January 29, 2024.
Qualification, Pay Scale for RBI Recruitment 2024
Bank's Medical Consultant
- Number Vacancy:01
- Educational and other qualifications: Applicant should possess MBBS degree of any university recognized by the Medical Council of India in the allopathic system of medicine. ii. Applicants having post graduate degree in General Medicine can also apply.
- Experience: The Applicant should have a minimum of 2 (two) years of experience practicing medicine in any hospital or clinic.
- Remuneration: ₹1000/- per hour for the entire period of contract.
Mode of Selection for RBI Recruitment 2024
- Selection will be made through interview of eligible candidates. The decision of the Bank in this regard will be final. The Bank will not entertain any correspondence with the applicants not called for interview. The interview will be held at Reserve bank of India, Rail Head Complex, Jammu – 180012.
- Applicants shortlisted after the interview will be subjected to medical examination tests and other document verification process before engagement as Medical Consultant (MC).

- The Reserve Bank of India, Srinagar, is seeking applications from eligible candidates for the position of Medical Consultant (MC) on a contractual basis. This position is specifically reserved for candidates from the Scheduled Tribe category. The selected candidate will receive fixed hourly remuneration.
