Assistant Executive Engineer
- Number Vacancy: 621
- Educational and other qualifications: A candidate must have possessed a Degree in Engineering in Civil for the post of AEE (Civil) and Degree in Engineering in Mechanical for the post of AEE (Mechanical) or an equivalent qualification from any University or Institution recognized by the Government or he/she must be an Associated Member of the Institution of Engineers of India in Civil/Mechanical.
- Age Limit: A candidate must have attained the age of 21 (twenty one) years as on 01.01.2023 and must not be above the age of 38 (thirty eight) years as on 01.01.2021 i:e he or she must he born not earlier than 02.01.1983 and not later than 01.01.2002.
Mode of Selection for OPSC Recruitment 2024
- The Commission will review all applications and choose candidates based on their valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score and interview.
- The merit list will be created using the total marks from the GATE score (90% weightage) and the interview (10% weightage).
- If two or more candidates have the same overall marks, the one with higher interview marks will be ranked higher.
- If there's still a tie after considering interview marks, the final ranking will be based on age, with older candidates given preference.
- The Commission will shortlist candidates for the interview based on valid GATE scores, and the number will be twice the advertised vacancies.
