The Airports Authority of India (AAI) is a government organization under the Ministry of Civil Aviation in India. Its job is to build, improve, take care of, and oversee the aviation infrastructure in the country. AAI is in charge of services like Communication Navigation Surveillance/Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) in the Indian airspace and nearby oceanic areas. Currently, AAI handles a total of 137 airports, which include 34 international airports, 10 Customs Airports, 81 domestic airports, and 23 Civil enclaves at Defence airfields.
Online applications are invited for the recruitment of enior Assistant, Junior Assistant positions at the Airports Authority of India. The application period commences on 10-01-2024, and concludes on 10-02-2024

Senior Assistant (Electronics)
- Number Vacancy: 14
- Educational and other qualifications: Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication/Radio Engineering
- Experience: 2 Years relevant experience in the concerned discipline
- Pay Scale: 36,000-1,10,000/-
- Age Limit: The candidates’ age shall be 18 to 30 years as on 30/12/2023
Senior Assistant (Operations)
- Number Vacancy: 02
- Educational and other qualifications: Graduate with LMV Licence Diploma in Management will be preferred.
- Experience: 2 Years relevant experience in the concerned discipline
- Pay Scale: 36,000-1,10,000/-
- Age Limit: The candidates’ age shall be 18 to 30 years as on 30/12/2023
Senior Assistant (Accounts)
- Number Vacancy: 05
- Educational and other qualifications: Graduate preferably B. Com. with Computer literacy test in MS Office.
- Experience: 2 Years relevant experience in the concerned discipline
- Pay Scale: 36,000-1,10,000/-
- Age Limit: The candidates’ age shall be 18 to 30 years as on 30/12/2023
Junior Assistant (Fire Services)
- Number Vacancy: 43
- Educational and other qualifications: 10th Pass + 3 years’ approved regular Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Fire with “Pass marks”. (OR) 12th Pass (Regular Study) with “Pass marks”.
- Pay Scale: 31,000-92,000/-
- Age Limit: The candidates’ age shall be 18 to 30 years as on 30/12/2023
Mode of Selection for AAI Recruitment 2024
Junior Assistant (Fire Services)
- Stage 1: Written Exam (Computer Based Test)- Duration: 2 (Two) hours Minimum pass marks will be 50% for UR/EWS/OBC candidates and 40% for SC and ST candidates.
- Syllabus 50% question on subjects relating to educational qualifications prescribed for the post: and
- 50% questions on General Knowledge, General Intelligence, General aptitude & English etc. Stage 2: On passing the online written exam, shortlisted candidates shall be subjected to Certificates / Documents verification followed by Medical Examination (Physical Measurement test). Those cleared in Medical examination shall be allowed for Driving Test (in Light Motor Vehicle) subject to possessing valid Light Motor Vehicle/ Medium Motor Vehicle/ Heavy Motor vehicle license in original. Only on passing the Driving Test, the candidate will be allowed for Physical Endurance Test (PET).
Application Fee for AAI Recruitment 2024:
Application fee of Rs.1000/-(Rupees One Thousand only) to be paid by the Candidates belonging to UR, OBC, EWS Category. No application fee is required to be paid by Women/SC/ST/Ex-servicemen candidates/Person with Disabilities and also the Apprentices who have successfully completed one year of Apprenticeship Training in AAI, as per Apprentices Act 1961 are exempted.
