The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is a special agency in India that focuses on dealing with crimes related to terrorism. Inspector

- Educational and other qualifications: Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university
- Scale of Pay: Level-7 in Pay Matrix (pre-revised PB-2 (Rs 9300-34800/-) with Grade Pay Rs 4600/-
Sub Inspector
- Number Vacancy: 51
- Educational and other qualifications: Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university
- Scale of Pay: Pay Matrix Level-6 (Rs.35,400/- to 1,12,400/-) (pre-revised PB-2 (Rs 9300-34800/-) with Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-)
Assistant Sub Inspector
- Number Vacancy: 13
- Educational and other qualifications: Graduation from a recognized university.
- Scale of Pay: Pay Matrix Level-5 (Rs.29,200/ - to 92,300/-) (pre-revised PB-2 (Rs 9300-34800/-) with Grade Pay Rs.2800/-)
Head Constable
- Number Vacancy: 12
- Educational and other qualifications: Processing the minimum educational qualification of 12th class pass or equivalent from any recognized Board of University.
- Scale of Pay: Level-4 in Pay Matrix (Rs 25,500 - 81,700) (pre-revised PB-1 5200-20,200 with Grade pay of Rs. 2400/-)
