WII Recruitment 2024 Qualification
- Project Associate – II: Masters’ Degree in Forestry/Environment Science/Ecology in Geospatial Environment with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized university and having more than 3 years of proven experience/certificate in Western Himalaya.
- Desirable: i. Good skills in spatial analysis of data with GIS/Ecology. ii. Good skills in Himalayan Ecology and Management Evaluation. iii. Good knowledge of High Conservation Value Areas.
An Indicator Species Approach for Monitoring Stream Health and Climate Change impacts for Himalaya: Testing using Amolops formosus.
- Masters’ Degree in Wildlife Science/Zoology/Life Science with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized university and having a minimum of 2 years research experience in herpetofauna ecology
- Desirable: Demonstrated experience of fieldwork on Biodiversity/Wildlife Conservation/Ecology/ Identification and Survey of herpetofauna preferably related to the Himalayan ecosystem.
Integrated Conservation and Management Strategies for Chirang-Ripu Elephant Reserve: A multifaceted approach.
- Masters’ Degree in wildlife science/Zoology/Ecology/Environmental Sciences/Life Sciences with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized university and having a minimum of 2 years research experience in above subject discipline in Academic Institution/Research Organization or Scientific activates in any organization.
- Desirable: Candidate(s) should have proven excellent field research and natural history observation skills.
- Understanding of deploying camera traps.
- Having a basic understanding of the languages spoken in Northeast India may be an advantage.
- Project Assiatant : Bachelor's Degree in Wildlife Science/Zoology/Ecology/Environmental Sciences/Life Sciences with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized University.
- Desirable: Candidate(s) should have excellent natural history observation skills and be willing to work in remote areas with limited facilities.
- Having a basic understanding of the languages spoken in Northeast India may be an advantage.

- An Application Fee of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) for the applicant(s) belonging to the General Category shall have to be deposited through an online mode. However, category candidate(s) belongs to SC/ST/OBC/EWS (Non-General Category) and Physically Challenged (PC) are exempted from the said Application Fee but shall have to pay Rs.100/- as ‘Application Processing’ Fee and, the same shall be payable through online/electronic mode
