AIIMS Gorakhpur Recruitment 2024 Qualifications Details
Professor:
- A medical Qualification included in the I or II schedules or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13 (3) of the Act.). A recognized postgraduate qualification e.g., MD/MS or recognized qualification equivalent here to in the respective discipline/subject.
- Postgraduate qualification e.g., Master's degree in the discipline. A Doctorate degree of a recognized University in the concerned discipline.
Additional Professor: Same as Professor (Medical). D.M. in the respective discipline/subject for medical super specialty and M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject for surgical super specialty (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Associate Professor: Four years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Assistant Professor: One year of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 3 years recognized degree of D.M/M.Ch. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
AIIMS Gorakhpur Recruitment 2024 Age Limit
- Professor/Additional Professor: Not exceeding 58 (Fifty-Eight) years as on the last date of the receipt of the application.
- Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 50 (Fifty) years as on the last date of the receipt of the application.
- The upper age limit shall be determined as on the last date of submission of offline applications.

AIIMS Gorakhpur Recruitment 2024 Application Fee
- General (UR)/ OBC /EWS Candidates: - Rs. 3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand Only).
- The fee is exempted for SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities Candidates and appointments on contractual and deputation basis.
- The fee is exempted for Women candidates
Selection Process for AIIMS Gorakhpur Recruitment 2024
- The prescribed qualification is minimum and merely possessing the same does not entitle any candidate to be called for interview or for selection.
- Based on details of the candidate, the Screening Committee may short-list candidates for interview.
- If required there may be a screening test to shortlist candidates for interview in case large number of candidates apply for a post or posts.
- Candidates called for an interview will have to produce all relevant original documents as proof of details furnished in their application at the time of the interview.
- They may also be asked to submit an affidavit/declaration as decided by AIIMS, Gorakhpur at time of the Interview.
- The methodology of selection will be decided by the Selection Committee as deemed fit besides any other matter related to the selection process.
