Eligibility Criteria of NIT Silchar Recruitment 2024
- For B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/B.A/Diploma apprentice trainees, candidate who have completed their degree after submission of this application are not eligible
- Candidates with higher qualification are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates who have completed their degree/diploma between 2019 to 2023 are only .
- Those candidates who have completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates are only eligible to apply.
- PWD candidates are eligible only for the designated trades as per apprenticeship rules.
- Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training or at present undergoing apprenticeship training under any organisation are not eligible to apply
- Candidates with more than one year work experience are not eligible to apply.
Stipend of NIT Silchar Recruitment 2024
Candidates finally selected for the apprenticeship training would be eligible for stipend as given below as per Govt. of India rules:
- Graduate Apprentice (Engineering/Non-Engineering graduates): Rs. 9000
- Technician Apprentice (Diploma holders): Rs. 8000
Selection Process of NIT Silchar Recruitment 2024
- Graduate Apprentice Trainees (B.E/B.Tech./B.Sc/B.A/Equivalent) ; Diploma Apprentice Trainees:
- The guidelines for selection/qualifying examination shall be notified duly in the institute website www.nits.ac.in and the final short listing will be on the basis of marks obtained in that examination.
- Details of short listed candidates will be published in the website of NIT Silchar i.e nits.ac.in
- Selection of candidates from SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS category would be as per Apprenticeship rules
- Candidates are advised to check the website regularly for updates
- Selected list of candidates for certificate verification will be published on : www.nits.ac.in .
- Selected candidates shall have to sign a contract on the date of joining as per Govt. of India rules.
How to Apply for NIT Silchar Recruitment 2024
- Candidates should first register themselves in the recruitment portal of National Institute of Technology Silchar. For registration log on to recruitment.nits.ac.in/bopt/index.php
- Candidates are requested to fill up correct details against all the fields along with uploading scanned copies of all the mandatory documents (as per list mentioned below).
- The marks obtained in the qualifying exam are to be mentioned in percentage. In case of CGPA, candidates are requested to convert the CGPA into percentage as per their university norms and the same will be verified during document verification.
- Candidates are required to bring a signed printout of the application along with the originals of the documents submitted online at the time of physical document verification at NIT Silchar.
- Online Applications after the last date would not be accepted. Incomplete or partially filled application forms would not be accepted.
