Education Department, Chandigarh Administration invites online applications from eligible candidates to fill up 100 posts of Nursery Teachers (NTT) on regular basis as per following details:-
Position and Vacancies
Chandigarh Administration's Recruitment for the year 2024 includes the availability of 100 positions for Nursery Teachers.
Essential Qualification
- Senior Secondary School Certificate (Class XII or its equivalent) from recognized board with at least 50% marks. Senior Secondary (Class XII or its equivalent) from recognized board with atleast 45% marks in accordance with the NCTE Regulations, 2002 notified on 13th November, 2002;
- AND Diploma in Nursery Teachers Education / Pre-School Education / Diploma in Nursery Tetion erogramation / Pre-School Education / Early Childhood Education Programme (D.E.C.Ed.) of duration of not less than two years or B.Ed. Nursery from NCTE recognized institution."
Pay Scale
The Pay scale for the post of Nursery Teachers (NTT) is Rs.9300-34800+Grade Pay Rs.4200 (Level-6) notified by Chandigarh Administration, Finance Department (Accounts Branch) vide notification no. 7000/15/8-F&P0(7)/2023/4354 dated 29.03.2023.
Age Limit
Candidates age should be strictly between 18 to 37 years as on 01.01.2023.
Application Fee
- Application fee (non-refundable) amounting to Rs. 1000/- (Rs.500/- in case of SC) will be accepted through online mode upto 08.02.2024 (upto 02.00 PM).
- Persons with disability are exempted for payment of fee as per instructions issued by Govt. of India.

Mode of Selection
Merit list for selection will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained in Objective Type Test/MCQ. One objective type tests of 150 Marks will be conducted Qualifying marks for test will be 40% for all candidates. No interview will be conducted.
How to Apply
- Applications can be submitted only 'ONLINE' from 10.01.2024 (11.00 AM onwards) to 05.02.2024 (upto 05.00 PM) on website https://www.chdeducation.gov.in/.
- However, last date for deposit of Application fee is 08.02.2024 (upto 02.00 PM).
- Before applying for the post of Nursery Teachers (NTT), candidate must ensure that he/she fulfils all the eligibility conditions mentioned in the advertisement.
- Eligibility regarding qualification will be checked with reference to closing date for submission of applications.
