Tripura Public Service Commission, also known as TPSC, is a government organization in the state of Tripura. It was set up under Article 315 to handle exams for civil services and other competitive purposes. TPSC's main job is to hire people for different government jobs in Tripura, both in civil services and various departments.
Online applications are invited for the recruitment of Assistant Professor positions at the Tripura Public Service Commission. The application period commences on 27.12.2023 and concludes on 29.01.2024.

Assistant Professor
- Number Vacancy: 12
- Educational and other qualifications: In accordance with the TEQ Regulation of NMC, 2022 adopted for the Institutes of Super Specialty during transition period. A Post - doctoral qualification DM/M.Ch/DNB equated to DM / M.Ch-(for disciplines under the super Specialties group as per Teachers Eligibility Qualifications (TEQ) Medical Institutions Regulations, 2022 of NMC in the concerned subject and as amended by NMC from time to time.
- Pay Scale: ay Band of Rs. 15,600/- 39,100/-(Pre Revised) with Academic Grade Pay Rs.8,000/- and revised Academic Level-12 of UGC on the recommendation of the 7th CPC, Entry Pay of Rs 79800/- with 03(three) additional increment i,e, entry pay Rs.87,200/-with special allowances Rs 8000/- and others allowances as admissible.
- Age Limit: Upper Age limit is 50 years as on 29/01/2024
Mode of Selection for TPSC Recruitment 2024
Method of direct recruitment for Regular Super Specialty faculty Post (Professor, Associate Professor, Asst. Professor): Selection through TPSC through Academic Performance Index (API) and Interview - API- 90 marks+ Interview -10 marks, Total 100 marks
Application Fee for TPSC Recruitment 2024:
- Rs.400/- (Rupees Four Hundred) only for General Candidates and Rs. 350/-(Rupees three Hundred and Fifty) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates. Recruitment fee so deposited, is non-refundable.

The online application portal will be open on the Commission's website from December 27, 2023, to January 29, 2024, until 5:30 PM.
