Banaras Hindu University, situated in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India, is a comprehensive university with a focus on academics and research. It was established in 1916 and incorporated the Central Hindu College founded by Annie Besant in 1898. Madan Mohan Malaviya founded the university with support from individuals like the maharaja of Darbhanga Rameshwar Singh, the maharaja of Benares Prabhu Narayan Singh, and the lawyer Sunder Lal after Annie Besant and her associates were marginalized.

Executive Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical)

• Number Vacancy: 02
• Educational and other qualifications: First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institute/ University OR passed in first class Section A & B Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India).
• Experience: Minimum experience of 08 years as Assistant Engineer and above OR Minimum experience of 05 years as Assistant Executive Engineer and above from CPWD / State PWD services or similar organized services / Semi Government / PSU / Statutory or Autonomous organization / University System or reputed private organization (with an annual turnover of at least Rs. 200 crores).
• Pay Scale: 67,700 (67,700-2,08,700)
• Age Limit: 45 years

Executive Engineer (Civil)

• Number Vacancy: 01
• Educational and other qualifications: First Class Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute/ University OR passed in first class Section A & B Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India).
• Experience: Minimum experience of 08 years as Assistant Engineer (Civil) and above OR Minimum experience of 05 years as Assistant Executive Engineer or above, from CPWD/State Government PWD services or similar organized services/Semi Government/ PSU/ Statutory or Autonomous organization/ University System or reputed private organizations (with an annual turnover of at least Rs.200/- Crores).

System Engineer

• Educational and other qualifications:B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science & Engg./Electronics Engg,/M.Sc. Computer Science/MCA with seven years experience. OR Master Degree in Engg./Technology in Computer Science & Engg/Electronics Engg. with five years experience. Experience should be at appropriate level in industry / University level Computer Centre in the areas of Servers configuration, storage systems, backup systems, Linux/Unix Software Engg, Design and Validation, Databases, Computer Networks.

Chief Nursing Officer

• Educational and other qualifications:M.Sc. (Nursing) with a minimum experience of 18 years of which 5 years in teaching & administration in a recognized Nursing college and 5 years in Clinical management experience in a minimum 500 bedded recognized hospital. OR Persons having nursing experience on analogous posts on regular basis or with a minimum experience of 05 years at Level-11 in Govt./Semi Govt./PSU/Military Hospital.

Application Fee for BHU Recruitment 2024:

A non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 1000/- shall be paid online by the candidates of UR, EWS and OBC categories for Group ‘A’ posts and and Rs. 500/- by the candidates of UR, EWS and OBC categories for Group ‘B’ Non-teaching. No application fees shall be charged from the candidates of SC, ST, PwDs categories and women candidates. The application fee is to be paid through the payment gateway in online application through Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI.

• Start by registering on the BHU website's Recruitment & Assessment Cell portal, then fill out the electronic application form online.
• Submit separate applications for different positions.
• Upload a digital passport-size photo and signature in JPEG format, each not exceeding 50 kb.
• Incomplete applications will be rejected.
• If the browser closes or you get logged out while filling the form, use the login information sent to your email to log in again.
