Applications are invited from motivated and eligible Indian citizens for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in DST-SERB, Govt. of India funded research project entitled “Deciphering PRC2 linked epigenetic vagaries in Oncohistones mediated T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia”, under the supervision of Principal Investigator (PI) Dr. Mayukh Biswas, Assistant Professor, Institute of Health Sciences, Presidency University, Kolkata.

Presidency University Recruitment 2024 Qualification
- MSc/MS/BS-MS or equivalent in any branches of Biology.
- Qualification in the National Eligibility Test at the JRF/LS level or Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) or an “equivalent exam” if any.

Previous hands-on experience in cell culture, mammalian cell transfection and transduction, transformation and cloning in bacteria, and techniques such as Western blotting, qPCR and immunoprecipitation.

Previous experience with bioinformatics tools.

Evidence of good oral and written communication skills in English through presentation.
Presidency University Recruitment 2024 Salary
- As per DST-SERB norms. Rs. 37000 + Rs. 8880 (24% HRA) = Rs. 45880/- per month.
Presidency University Recruitment 2024 Selection Procedure
- The candidate must bring with them on March 20th, 2024, a hard copy of their CV, write-up, and original mark sheets/grade cards for B.Sc. and M.Sc., NET/GATE scorecard/rank card/certificate of award. Self-attested xerox copies of the original will also be accepted subject to verification of the original at a later date if the candidate is selected.
