MEA Recruitment 2024 Qualification

• Essential Criteria: The Applicant should be an Indian national
• Minimum educational qualification: L.L.M. (International Law, International Relations, Constitutional Law).
• Minimum work experience: 05 years of work experience after L.L.M.
• Desirable Criteria: PhD or M.Phil in International Law/International Relations.
• Adequate knowledge of legal research.
• Experience in drafting a bill or research publications on addressing contemporary legal challenges.
• Experience in law and policy analysis, and drafting.

MEA Recruitment 2024 Salary

• The remuneration package will be commensurate with the experience and profile of the selected candidate, subject to a maximum of Rs. 10 lakh per annum and deduction of applicable taxes. The amount of consultancy fee so fixed shall remain unchanged during the term of engagement.
• The engagement will be strictly contractual and will not confer any other benefits to the selected candidates.
• The consultant shall not be entitled to any benefit like Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Attendance Treatment, Seniority, Promotion etc. or any other benefits available to the regular employees of the Ministry

MEA Recruitment 2024 Age Limit

• The age of the applicant should be preferably below 50 years as of the last date of submission of the application.

Selection For MEA Recruitment 2024

• Ministry of External Affairs will review the applications and shortlist the candidates for interview. The shortlisted candidates will be intimated by email.
• The date, time, and venue of the interview will be conveyed through email at the email address provided by the applicants.
• Applicants will have to make their own arrangements to reach the place of interview.
• No TA/DA will be payable by the Ministry to Applicants for attending the interview
• The final selection will be based on their performance at the interview.
• The decision of the Government regarding the selection of the candidate will be final.

How to Apply For MEA Recruitment 2024

• The applicants who fulfill the eligibility criteria may submit an application indicating their interest in working for the Ministry of External Affairs as per proforma in Annexure I
• Documents/certificates in support of educational qualifications, and experience in Govt. service should be attached with the application.
