Qualification for Calcutta University Recruitment 2024
Senior Network Technicians :
Educational qualification:
- Graduate (B.A/B.COM/B.SC./BCA) or Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Engineering.
Technical qualification:
- Computer hardware and Networking course from areputed institute.
- Proficiency in Bengali and English language.
Desirables qualification:
- CCNA, CCNP (routing and switching).
Experience:
- Minimum eight (08) years of experience in handling Networking maintenance including laying, configuring LAN including Wi-Fi setup, VLAN, Firewall, controller devices, etc in any University or other higher education institute of Government offices. Good knowledge of LAN/WAN configuration, TCP/IP protocols and network technologies hardware troubleshooting, software installation etc.
Junior Network Technicians :
Educational qualification:
- Graduate (B.A/B.COM/B.SC./BCA) or Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Engineering.
Technical qualification:
- Computer hardware and Networking course from a reputed institute.
- Proficiency in Bengali and English language.
Experience:
- Minimum three (03) years of experience in handling Networking maintenance including laying (drilling, crimping, testing etc.)/upgrading LAN in any University or other higher education institute or Government offices. Good knowledge of LAN/WAN connectivity, TCP/IP protocols and network technologies, hardware troubleshooting, software installation late

Salary for Calcutta University Recruitment 2024
- Senior Network Technicians: Rs. 25,000/- p.m. (Twenty-five thousand per month) consolidated.
- Junior Network Technicians: Rs. 20,000/- p.m. (Twenty thousand per month) consolidated.
Selection Procedure for Calcutta University Recruitment 2024
- The shortlisted candidates will be informed through email for online test and interview.
- The shortlisted candidate must appear in an online test along with a printed copy of the submitted ONLINE form.
- The shortlisted candidate must appear interview along with a passport-size photo and self-attested photocopies of supporting documents/certificates [Birth Certificate, Aadhaar Card, Educational qualifications, Technical qualification, Mark sheets from 10th Standard onwards., Caste and experience as applicable along with originals.
