ESIC Recruitment 2024 Qualification

Full Time Super Specialist

• MBBS and MD, DM/DNB (Cardiology) FTSS (entry level) - Nil FTSS (Senior Level) - 5 years experience in respective specialty after PG

Part Time Super Specialist

• MBBS and PG Degree or equivalent in concerned Specialty. For ICU, PG Degree / Diploma in Critical Care/Anaesthesia/General Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine. For Casualty, preference will be given to Postgraduates in Critical Care. If Critical Care specialist is not available, PG Degree / Diploma in Anaesthesia/General Medicine /Pulmonary Medicine or Paediatries may be considered.

Senior Resident - 3 Year

• PG Degree/Diploma in concerned speciality.

Senior Resident - 1 Year

• PG Degree or PG Diploma in concerned speciality. Candidates with 2 years experience after MBBS in the concerned speciality in Govt./Reputed hospitals will be considered if PG candidates are not available. PG Doctors will be given preference in Casualty Department.

Terms and Conditions ESIC Recruitment 2024

• Specialist shall be recruited for a period of 3 years with annual evaluation and term renewed every year based on satisfactory performance
• Private practice will not be allowed
• Available on call 24x7. 4. The specialist shall be responsible for all cases undergoing treatment under his supervision in his discipline.
• He/She will be entitled for the leave @ 04 days for each month of work. On prorata basis in a calendar year. In the event, the specialist prefers not to avail the leave, the same may be encashed to a maximum limit of 30 days/year.
• The selected specialist must have a professional indemnity policy which should cover the period as desired by ESIC in the bid. The policy is meant to cover professional liability falling on them as a result of error and omissions committed by them while rendering professional services. The minimum sum assured per annum should be Rs.30 lac for Anaesthesiologists, Cardiac Surgeon, Neuro Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons etc. (2) Rs.20 lakhs for General Surgeons, Gynaecologist, Obstetrician etc. (3) for Physicians, Dentists, Radiologists, Pathologists etc. It should be at least of Rs.10 lacs.
