Applications are open online through the OSSSC website www.osssc.gov.in for various district-level positions like RI, ICDS Supervisor, ARI, Amin, and SFS in different government departments in Odisha. The recruitment process follows the Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (District Cadre) Rules, 2012, Orissa District Revenue Service (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1983, Odisha Sub-ordinate Statistical Surveyors (Method of Recruitment and conditions of service) Rules, 2015, and Orissa Children's and Women's Welfare Service Rules, 1989, with the latest amendments.
Online applications are invited for the recruitment of 2,895 Revenue Inspector, Assistant Revenue Inspector, and More positions at the Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission. The application period commences on 30.12.2023 and concludes on 20.03.2024.
Qualification, Age Limit, Pay Scale for OSSSC Recruitment 2024
Revenue Inspector
- Number Vacancy: 559
- Educational and other qualifications: The candidate must have passed a Bachelor Degree examination in any discipline or equivalent thereto from a recognized University having knowledge in computer application.
- Pay Scale: Pay Scale 35400 -112400, Pay Matrix level-9, Cell-01
- Age Limit: A candidate must be below 38 years and over 20 years of age on the first day of January of the year in which applications are invited.
ICDS Supervisor for female only
- Number Vacancy: 498
- Educational and other qualifications:The candidate must have at least a Bachelor's degree in Arts, Science or Commerce or its equivalent.
- Pay Scale: Pay Scale 35400 -112400, Pay Matrix level-9, Cell-01
- Age Limit: The candidate must be a woman of not less than 21 years and not more than 38 years of age as on 1st January, 2023
Assistant Revenue Inspector
- Number Vacancy: 827
- Educational and other qualifications: The candidate must have passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha or equivalent thereto from a recognized Board or Diploma in Engineering from the Institution under State Council for Technical Education & Vocational Training, Odisha affiliated to AICTE having knowledge in computer application.
- Pay Scale: Pay Scale 19900 - 63200, Pay Matrix level-4, Cell-01
- Age Limit: A candidate must be below 38 years and over 20 years of age on the first day of January of the year in which applications are invited.
Amin
- Number Vacancy: 686
- Educational and other qualifications: The candidate must have passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha or equivalent thereto from a recognized Board or Diploma in Engineering from the Institution under State Council for Technical Education & Vocational Training, Odisha affiliated to AICTE having knowledge in computer application.

Statistical Field Surveyor
- Number Vacancy: 325
- Educational and other qualifications: TThe candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha or Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) or any other examination equivalent thereto.
- Pay Scale: Pay Scale 18000 - 56900, Pay Matrix level-3, Cell-01
- Age Limit: A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 38 years as on the first day of January of the year in which the advertisement is published.
Mode of Selection for OSSSC Recruitment 2024
District wise Provisional Select List shall be drawn category wise as per vacancies requisitioned for each post. Allotment will be made on the basis of merit, result of Practical Skill Test and choice/preference of post and district as exercised by the candidates during counselling. The Commission shall have the right to allot a candidate to any service for which he/she is considered more suitable irrespective of any preference exercised by him/her.

- The last date of receipt of online applications in response to this advertisement is dt.20.03.2024. The system will be automatically disabled and no application for the posts will be made available thereafter.
