Applications are invited from motivated, innovative, and eligible candidates for the position of Research Assistant (01) to work on the project titled “Development of biocompatible ZE41 Magnesium based composite for orthopedic implants applications” funded by JKST&IC, DST. The selected person would work on the Project initially for one year, which could be further extendable up to two years depending upon their performance, conduct, and project status.

NIT Srinagar Recruitment 2024 Qualifications
- B. Tech. and M. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum 60% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.5/10) to qualify under the Open/OBC category and a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.0) for candidates under SC/ST category.
- B. Tech. (4 years) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.5/10) to qualify under the Open/OBC category and a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.5) for candidates under the SC/ST category, with valid GATE scores.
- B. Tech. (4 years) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 75% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 7.5/10)
