Qualification for PSPCL Recruitment 2024
Technician Grade-II (Mechanical):
- 3/4 years recognized Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 50% marks. OR
- Matriculation with Regular ITI in any branch of Mechanical discipline with minimum 60% marks
Technician Grade-II (Instrumentation) :
- 3/4 years recognized Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 50% marks. OR
- Matriculation with Regular ITI in instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical/Computer discipline with minimum 60% marks.
Qualification/Knowledge of Punjabi is essential for all posts.
For this purpose, the candidates must have passed Punjabi of at least Matriculation or its equivalent level.
Note: The candidate must possess the above requisite qualifications up to last date of Submission/registration of online application.
Pay Scale for PSPCL Recruitment 2024
- For these posts, the Pay-Scale shall be as per the Instructions issued by Govt. of Punjab, Department of Finance (Finance Personnel-1 Branch) vide its letter No. 7/42/2020-5FP1/742-746, Chandigarh dated 17.07.2020.
Age Limit for PSPCL Recruitment 2024
- Candidates should not be below 18 years and above 37 years of age as on 01/01/2024 to be eligible for these posts and relaxation in age will be as per Govt. of Punjab instructions.
Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:
- SC and Backward class: 5 years over & above the normal maximum recruitment age.
- Ex-servicemen of Punjab Domicile shall be allowed to deduct the period of his service in the Armed Forces of Union from his actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for direct appointment to such a vacancy in the concerned Service Rules by more than three years, he shall be deemed to satisfy the condition regarding age limit
- Physically Handicapped: 10 years over and above the normal maximum recruitment age.

- All candidates except Schedule Cast and Person with Disability category: Application fees :Rs.1200/- per Application + Applicable GST @ 18% : 216, Total : Rs 1416 + Bank Charges (if applicable)
- Schedule Cast and Person with Disability Category: Application fees : Rs. 750/- per Application + Applicable GST @ 18%:135, Total: Rs 885 + Bank Charges (if applicable)
Fees will be accepted by online mode only.
No other mode for depositing fee is acceptable.
