The proposed research aims to develop methodologies facilitating post-buckling analysis, determine the failure modes occurring during post-buckling, and assess their impact on the collapse of stiffened composite panels. The optimization challenges encountered will be addressed using Bayesian-based Machine Learning (ML) approaches, capable of navigating the intricate design landscape to identify optimal designs. A comprehensive experimental investigation will validate the developed design framework. This entails analyzing data, drafting reports, and preparing manuscripts to ensure the project's timely and successful completion, in collaboration with the Principal Investigator (PI). Additionally, the selected candidate may have the opportunity to enroll in a Ph.D. program, provided they meet the necessary admission criteria of IIT(ISM) Dhanbad.

- An applicant must have a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or in the relevant subject with first class/division or a minimum of 60% marks/CGPA of 6.0 (on a 10 point scale) with B.Tech. / B.E. in Civil. / Env./Aerospace/Applied Mech or in the relevant field.

Fellowship: @ 37,000/- per month for first two years and: @ 42,000/- per month for third year.
Selection Process for IIT(ISM) Dhanbad Recruitment 2024
Shortlisted candidates will be informed of the date of the interview. Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee an invitation to the interview. Candidates will be short listed based on their merit and as per the requirement of the project. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
