IIT Kharagpur Recruitment 2024 Qualifications
- As per regular Professor of the Institute as under in relevant discipline.
- Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout with a minimum of 10 (ten) years teaching / research / industrial experience of which at least 4 (four) years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs, NITIE Mumbai and IISERs or at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or foreign Institution(s) of comparable standards.
- An eminent academician/scientist/engineer/technologist/industry expert in the relevant areas, whom the Institute feels is well-suited to meet the goals of the post.

- Tata Chair Professor : 70 years old.
IIT Kharagpur Recruitment 2024 Salary
- Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 3,30,300 (Rupees Three Lakh Thirty Thousand Three Hundred) per month. However, in case of retired personnel, the remuneration shall be fixed as per Government of India norms considering the pension amount, if any.
- A top up of Rs. 25,000 (Rupees Twenty-Five Thousand) per month shall be given for existing Professor of the Institute in addition to the salary drawn from the Institute.
