- First class in bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in the discipline concerned or in an allied discipline/area.
- GATE/NET qualification is mandatory.
- M. Tech. project in Composite Structures/Fracture Mechanics; proficiency in MATLAB.

General Terms and Conditions For IIT (BHU) Varanasi Recruitment 2024
- Candidates found suitable will be called for interview at IIT (BHU) Varanasi. The final selection will be based on interview performance.
- The position is purely temporary and is coterminous with the project.
- The PI has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit based on qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated to appear in the interview and no other communications in this regard will be entertained.
- The candidate is expected to join immediately, if selected.
