IIMR Recruitment 2024 Qualification
- Essential: Master's degree in relevant subjects (Genetics & Plant Breeding Plant Breeding/Genetics) with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor's degree. Candidates having a Post-Graduate degree in basic Science with 3 years of Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of master's degree should have NET qualification and 2 years of research experience as mentioned in OM No Edn./6/27/2014/H RD dated 13" July 2015, OM No Agril. Edn. 6/27/2014/HIRD dated 9" October 2015 of the Council and Om SR/S9/Z-09 /2018 of DST dated; 30" January 2019 for eligibility.
- Desirable: Working experience in molecular breeding, pollination, and data collection

- Rs. 31000 + HRA For 1" and 2nd year and Rs. 35000 + HRA for 3rd year

- The above position is purely temporary and will be filled in on a contractual basis. A number of vacancies is tentative and can be increased or decreased. The selected candidates shall have no right/claim for regular appointment at this Institute, as the engagement is a co-terminus with the Project/Scheme. Eligible & interested candidates may attend a Walk-in/online Interview on the dates as indicated against each project/scheme along with original certificates and typed bio-data with one set of attested copies of each of their certificates with passport size photograph. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Director, ICAR-IIMR, Ludhiana reserves the right to cancel/postpone the walk-in/online interview and/or terminate the contractual engagement even before completion of the project and no representation in this regard will be entertained. All concerned are advised to regularly visit the institute website (https://iimr.icar.gov.in) for changes/corrigendum, if any. Ineligible candidates will not be allowed to appear for Interview.
