Senior Research Fellow

• Essential: Minimum 60% marks: Master’s degree in Microbiology/Plant Pathology/Botany and having 2 years of research experience in the same field and having at least 2 research papers in National & International Journal
• Desirable: Working research experience in the field of Microbiology and pathology; Exposure to the maintenance of fungal culture; knowledge of computers, exposure to multivariate statistical analysis software.

Young Professional II

• Essential: M.Sc.in Microbiology/ Plant Pathology
• Desirable: Master degree in any relevant field will be preferred, knowledge of computers and data handling, exposure to statistical analysis, exposure to microbiological techniques

Junior Research Fellow

• Essential: Minimum 60% marks: Master’s degree in Microbiology / Plant Pathology / Botany.
• Desirable: Working research experience in the field of Microbiology and pathology; Exposure to the maintenance of fungal culture; knowledge of computers, exposure to multivariate statistical analysis software.

Unskilled labor

• Essential: 12th pass or having 3 years of experience working in a laboratory
• Desirable: Experience desired in the area of agricultural operations and laboratory.

• Senior Research Fellow: Rs. 31000/- + 27% HRA per month
• Young Professional II: Rs. 42000/- (Consolidated)
• Junior Research Fellow: Rs. 37000/- + 27% HRA per month

IARI Recruitment 2024 Age Limit

• Senior Research Fellow: The upper age limit is 35 years; relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PH/ ExServiceman/Women as per the Govt. of India instructions.
• Young Professional II: The upper age limit is 35 years; relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PH/ ExServiceman/Women as per the Govt. of India instructions.
• Junior Research Fellow: The upper age limit is 35 years; relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PH/ ExServiceman/Women as per the Govt. of India instructions.
• Unskilled labor: The upper age limit is 40 years; relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PH/ ExServiceman/Women as per the Govt. of India instructions.

Terms & Conditions For IARI Recruitment 2024

• The above position is purely temporary and will be filled on a contractual basis. The post is co-terminus with the project and will be offered initially for a period of 1 year or till termination of the project whichever is earlier and further extendable based on satisfactory performance for the remaining period of the project.
• The candidate age should be a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 35 years, age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/Women & 3 years for OBC, as applicable as per Govt. of India/ICARRules.
• Selected candidates will not be entitled to claim for regular appointments/absorption either in this institute or in ICAR. Non‐maintenance of discipline and failure to perform the assigned duties will make the candidate liable for termination during the appointment period as per ICAR rules.

Selection Procedure For IARI Recruitment 2024

• The candidates shall be shortlisted based on eligibility criteria, educational performance, and/or relevant research experience, if applicable. Only, shortlisted candidates shall be informed about the screening results via email positively by 12/04/2024 and shall be invited to attend online only.
