Applications are invited for the post of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (01) with emolument of Rs. 31,000/-pm + HRA 16% in a SERB sponsored Project (SRG/2023/001213) entitled “Exploring therapeutic strategies for Head and Neck Cancers with mutations in chromatin modifiers NSD1 and KMT2D” sanctioned for two years. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Banaras Hindu University Recruitment 2024 Qualifications
- The Candidate should hold M.Sc. in Zoology/Life Sciences/Biochemistry/Biotechnology or related area with atleast 55% marks, must have qualified NET/GATE.
- Under the project we will study the role of chromatin modifying enzymes in Head and Neck Cancer using experimental as well as computational approaches. Thus, the candidate with basic knowledge of mammalian cell culture, chromatin biology and knowledge of analysis tools such as R software will be given preference. Further, the candidate with prior experience in epigenetics will be given preference.
