Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Professors of Super Specialties in the Government Medical Colleges and Super Specialties Hospitals under the control of Directorate of Medical Education through the Direct Recruitment and Lateral Entry methods under Walk In Recruitment Mode.
Position and No of Vacancies
There are 169 vacancies available for the position of Assistant Professor in Super Specialties at Government Medical Colleges and Super Specialties Hospitals. These positions fall under the jurisdiction of the Directorate of Medical Education and will be filled through both Direct Recruitment and Lateral Entry.
Educational Qualifications
PG Degree (DNB/DM/MCH) in concerned Super Specialty from the institutions recognized by MCI/NMC
Pay Scale
Salary will be paid as per the rules in force till the completion of probation period. The 7th UGC Pay scales (G.O.Ms.No.22, HM & FW (A1) Dept., Dated 01.03.2021) will be applicable after completion of the probation period. Super Specialty allowance of Rs.30,000/- will be paid in addition to the salary.
Age Limit
- OC candidate should not have completed 42 years as on date of Notification
- EWS/SC/ST/BC candidates should not have completed 47 years as on date of Notification
- Physically Handicapped persons should not have completed 52 years as on date of Notification
- Ex-servicemen should not have completed 50 years as on the date of Notification
Selection Procedure
- Selection will be based on merit and rule of reservation
- Merit list will be prepared for all the candidates who applied and fulfilled all the eligibility conditions. Selection lists will be prepared based on merit lists and roster points as per the Rules of Reservation issued in AP State and Subordinate Services.
- Total Marks–100
- 75 Marks based on the marks/ grade obtained in the qualifying degree. Those who are not having PG marks memo or Grade, percentage of marks will be taken as 50% (50% x 75 = 37.50)
Application Fee
The candidates shall have to pay the application fee Rs 1000/- for OC and Rs 500 /- for BC, SC, EWS, ST and PH candidates through UPI Mode only.
